Niagara Bead Work Purse in Frame

Description

This Niagara bead work purse “whimsy” is antique.  This is a piece of history; it is from the Niagara Falls souvenirs tradition sold by Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) people beginning in the 1830s into the 1900s. This purse is in a frame and 7″ in length x 6″ across. On both sides there are a few missing beads around the edges and damage to the edge material.  The main beadwork is intact with great old beads.
