Description
Fabulous antique crooked knife in the form of an Owl. Painted years ago a cherry red. This one came to me many years ago from a collector in Maine. He thought it was Penobscot but didn’t have more detail about who it was made by. It has ridges along the back and sides to resemble feathers, the ends are shaped in the form of ears. Measures 9 inches including the blade. Likely made between 1880 and 1920.
