STERLING SMALL ROUND W PINE TREE EARRINGS

Description

These are small round sterling earrings with the little pine tree (‘Cowas’ in Abenaki) on the face with double curves. Stamped sterling and Sunrise Drum on the back. The front double curve is the traditional Eastern Woodland design for new growth and new life and the pines have healing needles. The Sunrise Drum combines the sunrise of the Eastern peoples and the drum which is our heartbeat and also Paul René’s last name meaning drum. These curves represent the fiddle heads and young plants of spring with the new life energy found in this spring season. The pine trees also represent our families and Nations and together are a prayer for the healing of both.
