Description
This raised bead work needle case “whimsy” is vintage. This is a piece of history; it is from the Niagara Falls souvenirs tradition sold by Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) people beginning in the 1830s into the 1900s. This needle case is 6.5″ in length x 6.5″ across. The background is brown with old color beads including raspberry sherbet. . There is some moth damage on the fold. There are a few beads missing from the edge beading. The bead work design is intact. This is a amazing example of this style bead work.
