Niagara bead work – needle case – 3 sections clear & green beads on red background

Description

This Niagara bead work needle case “whimsy” is vintage.  This is a piece of history, it is from the Niagara Falls souvenirs tradition sold by Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) people beginning in the 1830s into the 1900s. This needle case is 6″ in length x 3″ across. There is some moth damage on the red wool background and edge.  The bead work is intact, with some movement in the beads at the folds.
