Description
This lovely vintage needle case is from the Niagara Falls souvenir tradition sold by Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) people beginning in the 1830s into the 1900s. It is 5.5″ x 4″ w. It includes small “old” color beads including apple green, robin’s egg blue, greasy yellow, and raspberry sherbet. Most the beads are missing around the edge and some missing from the border, there is some wear around the fold and beads missing from both blue flowers. The other flowers, leaves, and stems are intact and overall it is a wonderful example of bead work from this era. Check out our other whimsies!!
