Description
These copper earrings in the shape of a heart are on surgical steel wires. They have Woodland designs including the double curve design, a symbol for the fiddle-head fern, the first plant that comes up in the spring. It reminds us that spring is coming, even in difficult times. Hearts represent the ‘strawberry’ [heart berry] also – one story is that our ancestors pick strawberries on the Milky Way Star path to heaven – so hearts are a prayer to remember our ancestors and those gone before us. The sunrise with a drum inside is the hallmark for the maker, Paul-René, and is incorporated into the design – the drum is for ‘heartbeat’ and the sunrise ‘new beginnings’.
