Description
Kachina dolls represent spirits of the Hopi people. Sunface represents the spirit of the sun, it is one of the more powerful Kachinas. This Kachina was made by Jacida L (Navajo) and is numbered 617834. It is 12″ high x 8″ across x 4″ wide. The doll has a hand painted wooden face, body, and turquoise leather apron. It has dyed white and black imitation eagle feathers and rabbit fur.
