Copper Cuff Turtle & Winged Underwater Panther

Description

This new copper cuff design for Paul-René. This cuff features two winged underwater panthers (Mishipeshi) who create balance with thunderbeings. They protect copper from people who are not respectful of the gift.  The turtle (Tolba) is at the center of the cuff. All turtles, including the ones made by Paul-René have 13 squares on the top of the back representing the 13 new moons each year.  Turtles also have 28 small squares around the outside of the shell, forming a calendar. Tolba represents this continent.

The stamped double-curve designs around the border include the symbol of the fiddlehead fern, the first plant to emerge in spring. This symbol reminds us that spring is coming and represents new growth, resilience, and hope for the future. Each piece is signed with the Sunrise Drum trademark.

It is 1 & 3/8″ x 6″ and the copper is treated on the front to delay tarnish. The back is not treated.
