Birchbark and Porcupine Quilled Box – Bird House or “Hobbit House” Design 3.5″ wide 6″ tall box made and signed by Abe Wiser of Eckerman, MI. Box opens from one of the roof panels. Roof panels are each 3.5×4.25″ the box height is 6″ at peak and 6.5 ” across front. The box is in great condition with red and yellow flowers and green leaves and stem. The hole [not real hole] in the center is red and black quills.  Black thread on sweetgrass rim in the style of many skilled Anishinaabe, (Ojibwa, Potawatomi, Odawa, Algonquin), basket makers.
