Cultural and Language Program Assistance
For Indigenous communities and organizations in both Canada and the USA. Paul-René and Andrea developed culturally-based higher education program for reservation communities integrating multiple topics including language and cultural continuation.
These programs draw on the knowledge skills from university learning and community-based work with Indigenous elders. Dr. Paul-René Tamburro has two graduate degrees in language and linguistics. Paul René has worked with intensively work with the Western Abenaki Language. During the 1990s he put together curricula for the first language endorsement at Makah and consulted in language revitalization with the Quinault Nation. During the early 1980s he developed culturally sensitive English as a Second Language program resource guides for South East Asian refugees.
