Paul René and Andrea have combined graduate degrees in Anthropology, Linguistics, Social Work and Education. Their doctorates and international professional experience enable them to specialize in providing assistance with Indigenous centric social service and education programs in both Canada and the United States. They offer consultation on the Indian Child Welfare Act in the USA and, for Canadian programs, content that is inclusive and / or focused on First Nations, Métis and Inuit issues in Child Welfare, Health Care and Education.
They also have experience in assisting with developing university and college curricula for human service, social work, language, and culture programs. This includes assistance with the integration of Indigenous perspectives and content into programing or curricula. Consultation work with communities, organizations and schools, is centered on building from strengths found in First Nation/ Indigenous culture and values. There are many strengths that can inform and assist in building or redesigning programs, social policies, healing/ medical/ social agencies, education systems and development plans. Drs.
