Fan for dancing & smudging from goose wing feathers w Black Leather Handle Beads & Silver Brooch. All hand set by Paul-René. Sterling silver ring brooch also hand made by PR. All done in traditional “Old Style” design learned from elders in Rez communities in his youth. In this case some of the Kicking Woman family, Piegan and also Mi’kmaq and Mohegan elders with the feather and other work. Our people used many methods and styles in “traditional” work not copying just what was in museums.
