Great porcupine quilled leather bag.   5″ x  4.5″ – great for a small cellphone. It closes with a leather thong around a leather nob. The quillwork is very fine.  Yellow sewn quillwork flowers, black leaves and brown stems.  Black leather bag, fringe, and green, yellow and brown edge beadwork. Quillwork is wonderful, done by a full Mayan Indigenous artist using old style designs of the Wôbanaki, Anishinaabe, and Haudenosaunee peoples. We provided the designs. The knowledge of how to do this embroidery is the same technique carried on traditionally for some Mayan artists.
