COOPER WAS THE SPECIAL METAL OF OUR PEOPLES IN THE AMERICAs. There was a lot in the area of the Great Lakes and several other areas. It is Red in color but add water and it comes to life – Green… a very special metal it is the color of life! Also it works exactly like sterling silver.

EXAMPLES of gorgets: Copper Thunders: heirloom quality hand chased and repoussé crescent moon style traditional gorget with Penacook style Thunderbirds (based on a design found in The USA state of New Hampshire done in copper from the 1600’s). These are surrounded by double curve fiddle heads and other Wôbanaki designs. Signed with the SunriseDrum hallmark and stamped sterling. Copper sheet metal with blue and white beads that are tube-like Eastern Woodland Wôbanaki style.

SECOND: A special order 3 together- a hawk/ canoes w/ wild rice, & a water panther (THIS IS MORE COST OF COURSE).
