Ojibwa/ Anishinaabe bead & commercial leather hand bag. Hand sewn – collected from Ontario Canada, has a long 22″ leatherhand braided strap. Interior lined on one side with white cloth. Beautiful, beaded flowers done in two needle applique style method common in Northeast Woodland art. Very traditional style – done so stiches are hidden – pulled “inside out” after sewn together so only the design is seen and no bulky stitching.
