Description

Hand stamped sterling silver (16 gauge) earrings with the sunrise drum trademark for the artist, Paul René Tamburro. Also, included is a double curve, symbol for the “fiddle head ferns”, the first plant to come up in the spring, reminding us that a new day is coming. It is symbol of hope, growth, and renewal.

The trees represent people, families, communities and Nations, placed inside the double curves they become energized with new life.  There is one star and one moon on each earring. Stars and moons remind us of our ancestral relations and with the curves become a prayer for renewal and healing for ourselves and our languages and cultures here in North America – Turtle Island (‘Tolba Menahan’ in Western Abenaki).  Each is a little different.

The earrings are 16 gauge, which is a heavier thickness of silver, 1.5″ long with surgical steel earring wires.
