Corn Husk Doll – Eastern Woodland dress and broom great detail.

Iroquois (Haudenosaunee). Made in Canada by Onoya’giyada, Cayuga. “For centuries the Iroquois child has played with dolls, made from corn husks, some dressed, some plain. Traditionally, play dolls are made without faces, there by encouraging the child’s imagination”. The doll stands on a 3.5″ diameter wooden stand, it is 10.5″ high and 3.5″ at the shoulders. She holds a broom and her hair is braded . The doll has amazing detail. Check out all of the pictures.
