SUMMARY:AIC Annual Powwow - Lebanon Indiana August 16 & 17\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:We will be telling stories and selling items at the Lebanon Indiana Powwow on August 16 & 17\, 2025.  We will be bringing books\, baskets\, porcupine quillwork (hatbands\, bags\, knife sheaths)\, southwestern jewelry including necklaces\, rings\, and pins.  Other items include pottery\, beadwork\, T-shirts\, moccasins\, blankets\, and of course Paul Rene’s handwrought silver and copper jewelry.  We will also be demonstrating and explaining Porcupine Quillwork and chasing and repousse silver and copper work. We look forward to seeing you at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds\, 1300 E 100 S\, Lebanon\, IN. \nThis annual Native American cultural event is centered on education and community involvement. The event will have speakers who will be speaking on Native cultural history as well as current modern Native lifestyle. There will also be Native singing\,\ndancing\, and crafts. Attendees will have the opportunity to try Native foods\, participate in raffles to win Native crafts\, visit Native vendors who sell both Native and non-Native made crafts and craft supplies\, as well as participate in the singing and dancing. \nAugust 16 & 17\nGates open 10am both days\nSaturday Grand Entry: 1pm & 7 pm\nSaturday Meal: 5pm\nSunday Grand Entry: 1pm\nBring your own lawn chairs
