DESCRIPTION:We will be telling stories and selling items at our booth at the Andersontown Powwow Sept. 6-7 2025.  We will be bringing books\, baskets\, porcupine quillwork (hatbands\, bags\, knife sheaths)\, southwestern jewelry including necklaces\, rings\, and pins.  Other items include pottery\, beadwork\, T-shirts\, moccasins\, blankets\, and of course Paul Rene’s handwrought silver and copper jewelry.   \nThe schedule on the website has some errors on the dates: \nSaturday Sept. 6  & Sunday Sept. 7 11 am Art & Craft Market opens \nSunday Closing ceremony 3:30 \nThe Andersontown Powwow showcases open and exhibition dancing in the arena. The Powwow is an intertribal celebration and welcomes all dancers. Visitors can enjoy the beat of the Native American drums and learn native dances like the round\, bean\, two-step\, and more. Plus\, learn about customs\, clothing and traditions of many different tribes. Event goers are invited to dance in the arena. The event will have speakers who will be speaking on Native cultural history as well as current modern Native lifestyle. There will also be Native singing\,\ndancing\, and crafts.
